Ticket Information

  • Advance online ticket purchases are recommended. The Bowie Playhouse is a small 150-seat theater and our performances sell out frequently. Online ticket sales end 30 minutes prior to the performance.

  • All tickets are subject to a $2 service fee per ticket, required by our ticket-selling software (not by 2nd Star). All listed ticket prices are inclusive of this fee and ticket prices are the same whether purchasing online or in person.

  • Tickets must be purchased using a credit or debit card, with the exception of Season Packages, which may be purchased online or through the mail by check. Cash is also accepted at the box office in person if tickets are still available. We do not offer a reserved or held ticket option. All tickets must be paid for at the time of purchase.

  • Tickets can be sent by mobile delivery, held at Will Call, or you can select the Print at Home option. If you can’t find your tickets, you can stop by the Box Office at the theater and we will locate your order.

  • All ticket sales are non-refundable. Tickets that you are unable to use may be returned by emailing the Box Office or visiting the Box Office in person. Returned tickets will not be refunded.

  • Ticket exchanges may be accommodated if we are given at least 24 hours notice before your performance time. If you have not exceeded this window, please communicate exchange requests no later than 24 hours in advance of your performance by emailing the Box Office and we will confirm whether it can be accommodated. We cannot make exchanges into a sold out performance and cannot exchange tickets less than 24 hours in advance of a performance. Our ticket capacity is limited, each ticket sale is important to our small non-profit budget, and we need advance notice to fill any empty seats.

Waitlist Tickets for Sold Out Performances

If a performance is sold out, a waitlist will be started at the theater one hour prior to show time. We do not start standby ticket lists prior to this time and we cannot guarantee waitlisted patrons will be offered a ticket.

Accessible Tickets

While we strive to keep our ticket prices affordable, we understand that our performances still might not be financially accessible to everyone. Please visit our Accessible Tickets page for more on our ticket initiatives.
